The match itself almost with no history - Legia rather unexpectedly demolished Slask like a buldozer. That being said, even more respect should go to the Wroclaw fans who were supporting their team non-stop and did not leave the stadion immediately after the last whistle - something absolutely spectacular - the players probably realize such fans deserve all possible affort and determination, with sweat and blood to be left on the pitch.
Admittedly I was not aware of the "Cursed Army" story however this is my problem, I know. From my perspective though, the big banner was on the fringe of pathos - a bit unusual for a football ground, yet - this might be my view only.
The defeat significantly reduced Śląsk chances for winning the Championship this season and provided Legia with a "pool position" - something the Warsaw team fully deserved.
